Why did you choose that name & number?  I choose AbiKill because I was trying to make my derby name match my real name, Abigail, but sound tough and badass at the same time lol but I cannot take full credit. My friend Seansy thought of the name. And I choose 956 to represent my hometown. It’s a little bit of metal, a little bit of gangster.

Positions Played:
All of them!!! Not by choice lol!

What is your real life job?
Oh man, where do I start? I have a little Airbnb, I'm a videographer assistant, drive for Uber and Lyft, waitress, and I'm a co-founder of Quantum Links Marketing.

When did you start your roller derby journey and/or when did you join CCD?
I started skating about 6 years ago (2014).

What's your favorite thing about playing roller derby?
I honestly love that everyone is very competitive against each other but at the same time everyone encourages each other to become better. Endurance is a love/hate thing. I also love that we don't even get mad when we get hit hard. We're just like, ”Damn! That was a good hit!!! GOOD JOB!”

What other roles do you hold in the league?
I'm head of the Sponsorship Committee and our Community Engagement Committee, and part of the Merchandise Committee.

What else do you enjoy doing besides skating? Any hobbies or interests?
Arts and crafts (some of which I make to sell at our merch table during games 😉), hiking and backpacking, gardening, and DIY projects around the house.

What is the biggest/best thing you've learned by being part of Crossroads City Derby?
Being comfortable and happy with my body. 🥰
